Welcome to Year 6. Our teachers are Mr Browne, Mr Massey and Miss Doran. Our teaching assistants are Mrs Day and Mrs Brown.
December 2021
- Year 6 did these perspective pictures in the style of David Hockney.
- Everyone in Year 6 enjoyed reading the book ‘Letters from The Lighthouse’
- We wrote our own letters and did some illustrations too.
February 2020
- This is our version of a Lowry Painting.
- David Hockney inspired us to paint these landscapes.
- In RE, we thought about the meanings behind Bible quotes related to light.
March 2019
- We made shields as part of our topic on Vikings.
- We made Rune stones.
- We made hats for fictional characters.
- Can you guess who they were for?
- In Geography we looked at different landscapes then illustrated them using paint and collage.
December 2018
- Year 6 have been looking at landscapes in Art and Geography.
- We took pictures and interpreted it in different ways.
- For Art day we posed in the style of the Magritte painting.
November 2017
- Year 6 have been learning about 3D shapes.
- We have been learning about bridges. We chose a bridge to study and painted our own picture. Next we are going to make a model of them.
- We dissected owl pellets and found bones.
- The bones made up skeletons of small mammals.
