326 Club

Codicote School 326 Club is an after school club for children who attend Codicote School.  It offers your child a safe, stimulating place in which to play or take part in activities and crafts.

The club is a non profit making organisation, managed by the Headteacher, staff representatives, and school governors.
It is run by the 326 leaders and deputy leaders, independently of other school staff.
326 is registered with OFSTED.  Our registration number is: EY346124

Booking Arrangements

  • Sessions may be booked by contacting the 326 Club Leaders, or by sending a completed booking form into school marked: For the attention of the 326 Club Administrator.
  • Registration Forms must be completed for every child attending 326 Club.
  • Sessions need to be booked in advance, and 2 weeks notice is needed, should a session no longer be required.
  • Payment is required in advance.  Cheques should be made payable to: Codicote Primary School.
  • For some sessions, places may be available at short notice. 

Organisation

  • The 326 Club provides childcare from 3.15 to 6.00 p.m. during term time.
  • Children in Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 are collected from Classrooms by the 326 staff.  Children in Key Stage 2 go directly to the 326 club at the end of school.
  • A register is taken on arrival.
  • Children are collected from the 326 room.
  • All children must be signed out by a parent/carer.  If a different person from usual is collecting the child, please inform the staff in advance; the child’s individual password will be needed. 

Fees

Session 1: 3.15 to 4.15 p.m. - £4.00

Session 2: 3.15 to 5.15 p.m. - £7.00

Session 3: 3.15 to 6.00 p.m. - £10.50

Aims

Our club aims to:

  • Provide a happy, safe, warm and stimulating environment for all children
  • Help children to develop responsibility for themselves and their actions, and to become competent, confident, independent and co-operative individuals
  • Encourage children to have a positive attitude and respect for both themselves and other people
  • Promote a positive relationship with parents/carers, and work in partnership with them to provide high quality play and care for their children

Activities

The sessions are structured to include quiet time and free play as well as planned activities.
A wide range of activities is available each week.  These may include:

  • Creative – painting, drawing, cutting, sticking and model making
  • Use of computer
  • Free play with activities chosen by the individual child
  • Imaginative play – dressing up and role play
  • Messy play – clay and dough
  • Musical instruments
  • Physical activities – inside and outside
  • TV, Play Station, dance mats & videos
  • Construction – Lego, Knex, Mecano etc
  • Gardening
  • Table Tennis
